Markús Guðmundsson was recently chosen by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) as a technical editor for WG1 of the CEN Workshop on eInvoicing phase 3. This Working Group will write compliance guidelines for the handling of electronic invoices withing Europe and will touch on technical and legal issues as well as the perspective of taxing and auditing. A contract has been signed and the project work will be ongoing until November 2011.
The Danes have been quite successful with their NemHandel message transport infrastructure and now they are sharing their experience in helping to realize that electronic invoices and other electronic documents should reach the 23 million SMEs on the European market.

In the month of March, two new reseller partners signed a partner agreement with Unimaze Software.
These are Columbus IT, Barcelona and C/Vision AS, Bergen, which are going to provide the ebManager NAV solution for Dynamics NAV, in order to help clients in Norway and Spain to conduct electronic business (B2B).
We welcome these new partners and look forward to working with them.
Earlier this year Unimaze Software signed agreements with Microsoft to become an Independent Software Vendor of Microsoft and a solution provider for Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
This is part of our strategy to offer packaged solutions for electronic business from the Dynamics ERP systems. As part of this strategy, ebManager NAV is now a registered Dynamics NAV product, that Microsoft Dynamics NAV Partners can now offer to their customers.
Today Unimaze Software and SPAN signed a contract regarding sales of Unimaze products in Iceland.
SPAN was established in the year 2000 and is a leading service operator in Iceland specializing in the transport of electronic documents between companies. SPAN operates a business hub that interconnects companies and enables them to conduct electronic business safely and efficiently. It has a customer base that includes many of Iceland's largest companies and institutions. SPAN provides its services both through its own operation and through a partnership with Siminn, the Iceland's leading telecoms operator.
SPAN will sell Unimaze products as part of its offerings to help speed up development of e-business solutions for the various ERP systems. SPAN and Unimaze Software share the mission to make electronic business more feasible and widely used than before and using recognized international standards as the basis, with complementary solutions that are very well matched.

NES, the Northern European Subset announced the first release of its deliverables two days ago.
Its deliverables include eight profile descriptions, based on document subsets of UBL 2.0, the Universal Business Language, guidelines, code list definitions and validation tools.
An employee of Unimaze Software has been actively taking part in the NES work.
A new profile was added in the latest stages. Information about this profile will be added to our Resource Area soon. The ebComposer UBL product fully supports the NES deliverables.
Today the Unimaze web site is launched together with the first release of ebComposer UBL, a class library for parsing and generating UBL 2.0 compliant business documents for .NET and COM/OLE Clients like Dynamics NAV and more.
