Stylesheet for PEPPOL BIS EN (European Norm) invoices and credit note as open source

We would like to announce that we have put XSLT transforms for the PEPPOL BIS EN16931 (Europen Norm) on GitHub and this stylesheet is free to use under the GNU GPL v3.0 license. This work has was implemented as part of the POOL-TSPs project (2017 CEF Telecom Call - eInvoicing; CEF-TC-2017-3). The objective of the project is to upgrade 10 e-invoicing solutions (certified OpenPEPPOL Access Points) to comply with the European Standard (EN) on electronic invoicing.

The main objectives of this stylesheet are to:

  • Provide easy visual access to most relevant data for the accountant.
  • Distinguish easily between invoice and credit note.
  • Support most XSLT processors.
  • Be purely HTML and CSS based (no Javascript shall be used)

This template is being implemented by Unimaze Software with feedback from the FUT Technical Committee of Icelandic Standards. Icelandic Standards is a member of the European standards organizations CEN, CENELEC and ETSI as well as the international standards organizations ISO and IEC.

The Github project is accessible here:

The POOL-TSPs project

This project called "Adoption of the eIncoiving Directive through interconnected platforms of European Trust Service Providers" (POOL-TSPs in short) is supported by the European Union through the „Connecting Europe Facility“ (CEF) program.

The POOL-TSPs project has several benefits for all public and private parties such are reduction of processing costs and time, reduction of storage costs, reduction of printing and postage costs and better message tracking. We are very proud to be a part of this project.

In this project integration tests are conducted by exchanging e-invoices between consortium members from seven EU/EEA states, namely Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, Italy and Sweden.
